Jalapeño Poppers
We’ve discovered your next favourite bite-sized appetiser! These vegetarian Jalapeno poppers are cheesy, spicy and sure to impress at your next get together!
Ingredients
- 12 jalapeños
- ½ cup EasiYo Greek Style Unsweetened Yogurt
- ½ cup cheese, grated
- 1 Tbsp chives, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic, grated
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp paprika
- 4 Tbsp panko bread crumbs
Mint yogurt
- ½ cup of EasiYo Greek Style Unsweetened Yogurt
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp mint, chopped
- Pinch of salt and pepper
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Halve the jalapeños and use a teaspoon to scoop out the seeds. It is highly recommended to wear gloves to prevent transferring chili to your hands.
- In a small bowl, combine yogurt, cheese, chives, garlic, onion powder, salt and paprika and mix well.
- Fill each jalapeño with yogurt mixture and top with panko bread crumbs.
- Drizzle or spray with oil, and bake for 15 minutes, or till golden on top.
- Combine mint yogurt ingredients together and serve on the side of jalapeño poppers.
