Roast Garlic Dip

Roast Garlic Dip - EasiYo NZ

  • 1 bulb or head of garlic, unpeeled
  • ½ Tbsp oil
  • lemon juice to taste
  • salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1 cup drained (8-10 hours) EasiYo Greek Style Unsweetened Yogurt 


  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Place the garlic on a sheet of tinfoil.
  3. Drizzle the oil over the garlic, then bring together the corners of the foil to make a sealed package.
  4. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the garlic is soft.
  5. Remove from the oven and when cool enough to handle, cut the garlic in half horizontally with a pair of kitchen scissors.
  6. Squeeze out the pulp into a small bowl .
  7. Add the drained yogurt, lemon juice and season to taste.
  8. Mix well and serve with toasted pita bread.
